De BREE commisie (Europese ergonomen) zal weldra gepresenteerd worden op
de volgende CREE vergadering in Helsinki is (6 en 7 juni). 4 Belgische
dossiers ter verlenging zullen voorgelegd worden. De BES heeft CREE officieel
uitgenodigd om de volgende vergadering in Brussel te laten doorgaan in
november 2008.
Activiteiten en nieuws van de Nederlandstalige vleugel van de
BES:
De
eerstvolgende vergadering van de nederlandstalige vleugel in de nieuwe
samenstelling zal doorgaan op 4 juli.
De leden zijn : Huget Desiron
(voorzitster) Rik Op De Beeck (secretaris en contacten PREBES-FOD), Willy Bohets
(contacten FEES), Luc Devriendt (Penningmeester),Veerle Hermans (nationaal
secretariaat en IEA), Roeland Motmans (BREE) Dirk Delaruelle (BREE), Johan
Lowette (BES-flash), Jan Seghers (Tijdschrift Ergonomie), Mark Van Sprundel
(opleiding-contacten arbeidsgeneesheren), mandaat voor de toetredingscommisie is
nog in te vullen.
Mark Hautekiet geeft er voorkeur aan om geen deel meer uit te maken van het bestuur NL, we houden er sterk aan om hem via deze flash uitdrukkelijk te bedanken voor zijn jarenlange actieve inzet voor de vereniging. Hugo D’hertefelt neemt geen mandaat meer op omdat hij op pensioen gaat, ook voor hem een welgemeende dank vanwege de bestuursploeg! We hopen desondanks in de toekomst bij gelegenheid nog beroep te kunnen doen op de extertise van Mark en Hugo.
De data voor de eerstvolgende vergaderingen van de nederlandstalige vleugel zijn : 4 juli (13u00 - 15u00 in Haasrode IDEWE), 3 oktober (13u00-15u00 in het congrescentrul te Elewyt) en 5 december (13u00-15u00 eveneens in Elewyt)

francophone de la BES:
La première
réunion du
bureau francophone a eu lieu le mardi 13 mai
2008.
La composition du bureau est la
suivante: Florence Laigle (présidente), Marianne De Troyer (secrétaire et
trésorière), Francis Cornillie, Jean-Philippe Demaret, Alain Piette et comme
membres co-élus: Ann Schietecatte, Nathalie Cock, Robert De Dobbeleer, Jean
Louis Claisse et Nicolas Draye

Activités en cours d'organisation: visite site de fabrication de meubles de bureaux ergonomiques (vers la mi-septembre) et atelier avec firmes commercialisant des inventions techniques dans le domaine de la construction (vers début décembre). Une activité probablement commune avec l'ARACT Lille au sujet des problèmes psychosociaux est en cours de réflexion (début 2009).

DE DOS ET STRESS Un coffre à outils pour les travailleurs des magasins
entrepôts
Dans les magasins-entrepôts de grande surface, les maux de
dos peuvent représenter entre 40 % et 50 % de l’ensemble des accidents
indemnisés par la CSST, alors que la moyenne n’atteint pas 28 % dans tout le
Québec. Des scientifiques de l’IRSST ont voulu fournir des outils à ce milieu de
travail pour réduire les risques de ce type de lésions.

FOD Werkgelegenheid, Arbeid en Sociaal Overleg: Een actieplan 2008-2012 ter versterking van de
gezondheid, de veiligheid en de levenskwaliteit op de werkvloer
Naar
aanleiding van de Werelddag 2008 voor de Veiligheid en de Gezondheid op het werk
en enkele dagen voor het feest van 1 mei, houdt de minister van Werk eraan te
benadrukken dat de versterking van de gezondheid, de veiligheid en het welzijn
van de mensen op de werkvloer een van de grote prioriteiten van deze legislatuur
wordt.
De krachtlijnen van dit actieplan zijn de volgende:
1. Het aannemen
in 2008 van een ambitieus plan "Gezondheid, veiligheid en levenskwaliteit op de
werkvloer"
2. Lancering van de eerste kwaliteitsonderzoek naar de gezondheid
en veiligheid op de werkvloer
3. Vermindering van het aantal
arbeidsongevallen en beroepsziekten op basis van de Europese doelstelling van
een vermindering met 25 procent
4. De
preventie en behandeling van beroepsziekten verbeteren
5. Een verbetering van de werking van de externe
preventiediensten
6. Het welzijn van
werknemers "in transitie" of kwetsbare werknemers verbeteren door betere
informatie en versterkte aandacht voor psychosociale risico’s
7. Het verminderen van de psychosociale
belasting op het werk via de toepassing en de evaluatie van de wet van
2007
8. Het verminderen van drugs,
alcohol en tabak op het werk in samenwerking met Volksgezondheid en met de
gemeenschappen

sociale: Un plan 2008-2012 pour améliorer
la santé, la sécurité et le bien-être des personnes au travail
A
l’occasion de la journée mondiale 2008 pour la Sécurité et la Santé au travail
et à quelques jours du 1er mai, la ministre de l’Emploi a affirmé que le
renforcement de la santé, de la sécurité et du bien-être au travail sera une des
grandes priorités de la législature.
Les lignes de forces présentées sont les suivantes :
1. Adoption en 2008 d’un plan ambitieux « Santé, sécurité
et qualité de vie au travail »
2. Lancement
de la première enquête de qualité sur l’état de santé et de la sécurité au
travail
3. Réduction du nombre d’accidents
du travail sur base de l’objectif européen d’une diminution de
25%
4. Améliorer la prévention et le
traitement des maladies professionnelles
5.
Une amélioration du fonctionnement des services externes de prévention,
notamment de l’échange d’informations et un renforcement du
contrôle
6. L’augmentation du bien-être
pour les travailleurs « en transition » ou les travailleurs plus précaires au
travers d’une information renforcée et d’une attention aux risques
psycho-sociaux
7. Réduire les risques
liées à la charge psycho-sociale au travail via l’application et l’évaluation de
la loi de 2007
8. La diminution des assuétudes,
alcool et tabagisme au travail en collaboration avec la Santé publique et les
Communautés

Occupational Health and Safety Summit : It is an honour as President of the IEA
to be one of three Presidents of International Professional Associations offered
to join a group of 50 Government Minister and Senior Officials at the World OHS
Summit to be hosted by the President of South Korea. This will be held in Seoul
on the 29th june and a Declaration in support of
Governments to recognize and promote OHS is being drafted for debate. The
leadership for this Summit is being offered by the ILO in Geneva with whom the
IEA has a close working relationship

The European
Commission has today proposed to postpone for four years – until 30 April 2012 –
the deadline for introducing legislation on workers' exposure to electromagnetic
fields, which could have affected the use of technologies such as Magnetic
Resonance Imaging (MRI). This will allow enough time to prepare a substantive
amendment to the Directive in order to take account of recent research findings
on the possible impact of the exposure limits on MRI.
